WalMart will soon be selling more golf footwear at a discount.
The retailer will begin selling golf shoes starting Friday and will be able to offer discounts to customers who order more than $10 worth of footwear, a Walmart spokesperson told Business Insider.
The new pricing is part of Walmart’s efforts to offer a better selection of golf shoes in a price-conscious environment, according to the spokesperson.
It comes after a recent survey showed that the average golfer spends $300 a month on golf shoes.
While the retailer plans to offer more golf products in the coming months, the spokesperson declined to provide details about how much of a discount they would offer or what it would include.
While golf is a popular sport at the retailer, it has traditionally been hard to find in Walmart stores.
A recent survey from Golf Digest found that the retailer’s average customer spends just $2.65 a week on golf.
Walmart has struggled with its stock price over the past year as the retailer has been forced to deal with a weak economy and the introduction of a new tax law that has made it harder to keep profits.
The retailer’s stock price has been trading below $20 for much of 2016.
